IPM is an ecosystem-based strategy that focuses on long-term prevention of pests or their damage through a combination of techniques such as biological control, habitat manipulation, modification of cultural practices, and use of resistant varieties. At least 20 wheat producers attended in the one-day training which was held in Chehel Kapa village in Doshi district in Baghlan province. The trainer used different methods of teaching for a better understanding of wheat cultivation, the importance of seeds, seeds classes, production planning, weeds control, crop management, harvesting, and cleanliness. The training was aimed at boosting the capacity of farmers to improve their products. The beneficiaries thanked GIZ and ASIO for running the project and said such programs will benefit farmers and will help them to increase their products.
